TFAS Juried Members’ Exclusive Exhibit
IN THE GARDENS:
Lynette Scott is the executive director of Artlink, a nonprofit art space and contemporary gallery located on the Arts Campus Fort Wayne. She believes art is an integral part of building a vibrant community here in Northeast Indiana, and works with artists to build their careers. A graduate of Huntington University in theatre design, Lynette continued to study art and design at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. While living in northern California, Lynette worked as assistant to the director at the studio of Bay Area artist, Ira Yeager, assisting with the curation, design and installation of studio exhibitions as well as the retrospective exhibition Ira Yeager: Process and Progression at COPIA in Napa, California. In 2015, she returned to Fort Wayne and lives near Lakeside Park with her husband and two young children.

Exhibit Information
In the Gardens: TFAS Juried Members’ Exclusive Exhibit is a juried, all media exhibition open to independent members of the Toledo Federation of Art Societies (TFAS) on or before March 1, 2021. This exhibit is one of the TFAS independent member benefits and is being hosted by Schedel Arboretum & Gardens, providing an exhibition that reflects art in natural surroundings.
Following the guidelines of the original TFAS exhibits from more than 100 years ago, all submitted work must be available for purchase.
Selected Artists will have the opportunity to give online Artist Talks or Artist Demos live, as well as having them archived on the tfas100.org website.

Eligibility
This all-media competition is open to artists who have been Independent members on or before March 1, 2021. Each entrant may submit up to two (2) works of art that are prepared to hang on a wall, and are no larger 20” x 24” each. Each piece must weigh less than 30 pounds. Submitted artwork must be original in concept and execution, as well as created within the last three (3) years.
TFAS and Schedel Gardens reserve the right to have final determination regarding inclusion/exclusion of specific works that may pose a hazard or hardship to the gallery, its staff and patrons.
